This week I’m sharing mostly local favorites. A local ceramics designer, a local crafts maker and jewellery designer, ice cream, beauty products, candles, alcohol and a local product that will probably change the world.
Lets talk about that product that will change the world. It’s called Abeego. It’s an all natural wrap for food and containers. It’s used in the same way you’d use plastic wrap, but obviously way better for the environment. You can read more about it and watch videos on their website. I’ve got a few sheets of their product and I’m in love with it. It keeps veggies fresh and fits over containers way easier than plastic wrap, no more struggling with that awful roll of plastic.

Since we’re on the topic of containers, I’ll confess my deep love for the ceramic designs by Janaki Larsen. Her wabi-sabi design style is absolutely stunning, if you’re ever in Vancouver, I recommend checking out her work at her shop called Le Marché St George.
